BEACON formative research on hygiene behaviour in Lahan
In 2020, Anweshan carried out formative research on hygiene behaviour in Lahan Municipality for WaterAid Nepal’s BEACON programme.

Overview
The study looked at how people understand and practise hygiene and what social and service barriers stand in their way. It was the first of several WaterAid studies Anweshan has since led on school WASH, gender, adolescence and hygiene.
